The Senegalese star is said to no longer want to play alongside Ronaldo at Al Nassr.

According to Foot Mercato , Sadio Mane is considering leaving Al Nassr this summer due to a disagreement with Cristiano Ronaldo . Mane only joined the Al-Awwal Park team last summer for £24 million.

Mane could move to Al Ittihad, the 2022/23 Saudi Pro League champions, on loan.

Since joining Al Nassr, Mane has scored 19 goals and provided 11 assists in 46 games across all competitions. However, he has often been criticised by fans for not performing well enough.

Mane played 43 times with Ronaldo. With this duo, Al Nassr won an average of 2.26 points/game. However, Al Nassr still could not win the SPL championship because Al Hilal was too strong.

In just a few months, Al Nassr had to watch bitterly as arch-rival Al Hilal “snatch” 3 titles, including the 2023/24 Saudi Pro League championship, King’s Cup and most recently the Super Cup.

Despite having Ronaldo, Al Nassr is still losing the competition with Al Hilal. After 11 consecutive matches, the home team at Al-Awwal Park has not been able to win against their blue-shirted rivals in the same city, including 2 consecutive defeats in the finals of the King’s Cup and Super Cup.

In the humiliating 1-4 defeat to Al Hilal in the Super Cup final, Ronaldo even publicly criticized his teammates for playing like they were sleepwalking, then went into the locker room and refused to accept the silver medal.
